About

Over the years, Amber has performed an array of opera roles such as Lauretta from Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi (2026), Gretel from Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel (2025), Susanna from Le Nozze di Figaro (2025), and Elsie Maynard from Gilbert and Sullivan’s Yeomen of the Guard (2024). Amber particularly adores performing the role of Gretel, embracing the whimsy and silliness of the role; they adore the accessibility Hänsel und Gretel allows in engaging younger audiences and connecting them to opera.

Amber is enthusiastic about choral singing in addition to solo singing due to the collaboration it offers between singers. They are a part of the VOCES8 Scholars Community, having been a part of the program during the 2026–2027 season. Amber participates in an array of choral activities at Peabody Conservatory, singing within NEXT ensemble and chamber voice projects. They have always adored singing within chamber groups, having been a part of Rowan University’s Voces for three years of their undergraduate studies. Amber’s most cherished choral memory is artistic directing and performing Craig Hella Johnson’s Considering Matthew Shepard at Rowan University.

During their final year of their undergraduate studies, Amber received the Barbara Chamberlain Medallion Award for Outstanding Excellence in Singing. Additionally, they have been recognized by NJ NATS through receiving the Encouragement Award in the summer of 2026.

Amber is currently pursuing their M.M. in voice performance with an emphasis in pedagogy from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, where they study with Elizabeth Futral. They received their B.M. and B.A. in vocal performance and music education from Rowan University in the fall of 2025, where they studied with Karen Huffstodt.
